stressed

stress is kicking in once again with almost 6 weeks of school gone.
this week has been seriously hell. 2 tests this week n there's so much to study,
plus a psychology group presentation. all these plus a lack of sleep of only abt 7hrs/day (ok i noe i'm a pig but i need 9hrs of sleep these days yeah) is making me kinda moody. I NEED MORE SLEEP! arrrgh. but doing my weekly exercising with amanda, thou i brisked walked most of e time on e treadmill with e CLEO magazine in hand perked me up a little.not to say treating myself to nasi lemak! ha.
and with australian idol showing on tv these days with a couple of cute guys out of e lot, my eyes are hving a feast. introducing to u my fave Dean Geyer, South African karate champ hunk who recently migrated to melbourne n has an amazing voice. he works e cameras so well with his mersmerising eyes they make ur knees go weak.. he's not looking v good here but i'll post some more if i find better pics!

i noe ur probably bored now. but juz let me gush about dean ya! i seriously hvn't gushed abt a guy for quite some time.

at least these things are keeping me sane for e moment.
its ANOTHER hell week again nxt week...with 2 psychology lab reports due and i hv no freaking clue as to how to start becuz i hv to create my own hypothesis i'm screwed. and guess wot andy's almost done with his lab report. bleahz.

on another note, spring is here!! woohoo. my fave season. weather's been great e past few days averaging abt 20....no more thick wool jackets!

don't know, don't care!

new motto that i borrowed from jonathan.
seriously thinking too much doesn't help so i'll juz learn to ignore.
i'm sorry for avoiding u and i didn't mean it. but at least i did try to talk to u after wot happened. so even that u shouldn't ignore and not even say hi?! wotever. i gave u e benefit of e doubt that you probably didn't see me. and i'll juz leave it as that. i was even gonna ask you out for a drink or something to chat since i haven't talked to u for some time. but i dun see a need to or i dun think i should even bother now. if you want to go have fun with your OCF friends or wotever and not care about all of us in e group anymore, so be it.
we are all tired. of always asking you out for dinner and hving you reject is countless times always saying your tied up with something. i noe, its sad that this friendship is almost dead.
i dunno wots wrong but i dun care anymore. we will all stop discussing, stop wondering wots happening from now on..

fitness first

and so i received a private call on my handphone, thinking it was my dad.
guy on e other line: hi this is blah on e line, and i'm from fitness first, melbourne central. your friend kathleen has joined fitness first and has nominated you to come down for a free trial. has she told u abt it?
me: ??? fitness first?
i knew tt kathleen was going to join some time soon cuz she wanted to keep fit.....but she didn't tell me she nominated me!
me: erm nope she didn't tell me abt it.
guy: how often do u exercise amy?
me: hmmm i use my fren's house gym once a week.
guy: once a wk?? that's not enough! wots ur purpose of going to e gym amy?
me: well to keep fit of cuz. once a wk is not enough?
guy: yeah its not, would u like to come down for a free trial?
me: i'm sorry but once a wk is enough for me and besides i dun have much free time..
guy: oh. so u would not like to come down?
me: yeah. thanks anyway.

seriously once a wk is soooo enough for me! its not like i'm training for some olympic medal or sth haha. i rmbr not exercising AT ALL when i first came to melbourne. which is bad =.= n besides once i go for e free trial, i'm sure they would somehow make me join e membership..which i'm so reluctant. knowing how LAZY i am, i will definitely not go after one or two times. and hving to wear nice gym wear? i dun even hv any track suits! ha.

Goong~

i am now hooked on to this drama:

Based on Park So Hee's popular korean manga, the drama follows the story of ChaeGyung through her struggles with finding out she's been arranged to marry the crown Prince of Korea and how she adjusts to the demands of her position and her growing feelings of love and hate for the prince.

the cast is not too good looking but i juz love e really pretty clothes they wear! n yeah e palace is huge n beautiful~~~ makes me laugh loads too!! off to watch more of goong~~

prostate week, or wotever its called..

so its that time of e year again...
the time of e year where students from different faculties display
their stuff around e school on in lectures.
n so it happened during cognitive psych lecture yest.
when 20 over guys were stark naked. running around the lecture theatre.
it was a funny sight, seeing those guys running around, bump each other
and start screaming.
lasted for 5mins i reckoned haha.
andy was complaining y there weren't any naked girls. lol.
but it sure was hilarious.........
interesting stuff that i won't get to see in singapore heh? haha.
tts wot i like about it here. =P

too nice??

i've recently concluded tt e lecturers and tutors here are TOO nice..
2 instances to cite evidence:

1) during neuroscience test:
lecturer: ok times up for e test. pls sit quietly while e tutors go around to collect ur answer sheets.
girl (raises hand): but 15mins is not up yet.
lecturer: i'm sure its been 15mins according to this watch. i dun suppose i got it wrong?
girl: i'm sure its not 15mins yet. could you give me more time?
lecturer: anyone else here needs more time??
LOTS of hands go up.................dang it.
lecturer: ok as of from now i'll give u an extra 5mins more to complete ur test as this is not a time pressure test.
everyone else happy.

heh where got such thing?? i already finished my test n amanda said she was qte sure 15mins was really up. n they actually give u extra time. this never happens in sg. oh well we were pretty disappointed.

2) during cognitive psych practical:
warwick(my cognitive psych tutor, who is so awfully cute!): we only took samples from e experiment from 16 students as shown in e table i've given to u for your lab report
students: only 16?
warwick: e reason y we did it this way its becuz we are afraid that some ppl out there would not noe how to type out this in a table in excel n to help those who can't do it, we limited e number of samples taken n not take 100 samples so as to not give too much trouble to those who would hv to hand write it. =.= wow so nice ah?? i tink if this happens in sg, e teacher will most probably ask u to go learn how to type it out in excel on ur own.

so tell me aren't they juz sooo nice??

i've finally learnt e meaning of hard earned money.
but i've got a lot in return...including concerned msgs from my dear friends!
sometimes i juz feel so lucky.........

i've been to West Lake and Shark's Fin restaurant so often i'm so sick of chinese
food already. not only tt i'm sick of korean, japanese n thai food too.
been eating out so often n entertaining different guests.......
i'm not even craving for any food at the moment....

anyways e ndp celebration e singapore students society set up yest at Velour was seriously
crap. all i can say it was BORING boring boring...i thot they wld hv screened ndp live
or sth n it wldn't hv been tt bad. lousy bartenders who gave us peppermint schnapess when we asked for peach! bloody hell juz say u dun hv peach la so we can order sth else. together with lousy finger food which was miserable in portion n they had only satay n spring rolls =.=
plus crazy guys who took of their shirts n danced like mad dogs. waste of my money n time.arrgh.
